About This Piece
"Fading Magnolia Flower" is an oil painting from a series that explores the ephemeral nature of our existence as the Magnolia flowers bloom for a short time. I wanted to capture the very fleeting moment of when it starts to turn from blooming to wilting and/or fading as a metaphor for the nature of our existence.
