Biography
Marten Visser is a landscape painter who lives and works in Hamilton, Ontario. He works mostly in acrylic, gouache and oil, recreating and interpreting the scenes he was surrounded by growing up on Georgian Bay and during the years he spent working in the Canadian wilderness.
Today, Marten works both in a plein air style as well as from a studio in his home near Locke Street.

All proceeds from our auctions support school operations and DVSA’s groundbreaking hands-on art programs for participants of all ages and backgrounds.
Shipment can be arranged for purchasers outside the GHA upon request. Shipping fees are extra and to be paid by the purchaser. Some works may not be able to be shipped due to size, weight or fragility. Shipping requests can be made to bid@dvsa.ca.
