About This Piece
Paull Rodrigue's Pacific colourings are one of his most popular colour combinations inspired by deep blues overlapping gold and purples. It reminds him of his days on the west coast, watching the oceans roll in and out and the sands blowing on the shore and the skies that would swirl with beauty. No two pieces are ever the same even though the colours may appear to be. Bringing a Rodrigue sculpture into your home is not only a visual delight, but the colours change all the way around the piece as you walk past it. Some clients of Paull's still exclaim they love their pieces, even after 25 years. And that always encourages Paull to keep making glass.

Biography
After 30 years in the arts, Paull Rodrigue continues to push his art/craft in dynamic ways, eclipsing translucent colours that present new and dynamic colours through refractive light. His large glass sculptures are made by him orchestrating his team to move with precision and to handle the heavy weight of the glass while it is being blown.

Paull has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across North America, making a significant mark in the Canadian contemporary art glass community with an unrivaled technical proficiency.

He was born and raised in Burlington and is proud to have his studio established in Dundas.
