About This Piece
The landscape depicted in this painting is located at the intersection between Sydenham and Highway 5. This is one of the many local places that inspired me. It took some time for me to understand the beauty and the unique features of that spot because it looks like many other places we have around. However, I was inspired by the combination of different colours and textures of the grass and the fields, with trees and farm buildings in the background. I was always impressed by the movement and dynamics of plants and bushes under the wind.
