About This Piece
The scenery depicted in ‘Windswept - PEI’ is from Covehead Harbour on the Northern coast of PEI, where the artist visited in the summer or 2023. The weathered pine stands firm and resilient, though beaten by years of salt laden winds from the North Atlantic. When considered symbolically, this evocative scene is rich with enduring meaning.
