About This Piece
In Cohort, architecture becomes a quiet language of belonging. Drawn from a familiar place in Hamilton (the Barton Street community), the buildings gather in warm orange-red light, their forms standing together like a community held in shared space. The colour carries a sense of warmth and memory, echoing the comfort of streets and structures that feel known. In this collective presence, Cohort reflects the quiet reassurance of place—the way familiar surroundings can hold us, connect us, and remind us that we are part of something larger.
